The client aimed to build an educational application in Japan that could connect digital event management with real-world fair activities for children.
The platform needed to support multiple user roles, ensure child safety, and align with Japan’s strong expectations around structure, guidance, and responsibility in educational services.
At the same time, the app had to be friendly and engaging for children, while remaining reliable and easy to manage for parents, staff, and event organizers.
AMELA worked closely with the client to design and develop a mobile application that supports the entire children’s fair event workflow.
The app enables parents and organizers to create and manage events digitally, while allowing eligible students to take part in booth operations under clear rules and supervision.
Key solution highlights include:
-
A role-based system separating parents, children, students, and staff responsibilities
-
Structured event flows covering preparation, live operation, and post-event wrap-up
-
Clear age restrictions to ensure only middle school students and above can manage events
-
A friendly, child-oriented UI combined with reliable management screens for adults
-
A design approach that seamlessly connects in-app actions with real-world activities
